Albert Dale Monroe passed from this life June 8, 2019, in Hugo, Oklahoma, at the age of 77. He was born May 21, 1942, in Boswell, Oklahoma, to Curtis R. Monroe and Alta Odell (Bennett) Monroe.
Dale served in the United States Army, as a Specialist 4 during the Vietnam War. He worked for Texas Instruments, where he retired from later in his life. He enjoyed ranching, gardening and construction. Above all else, Dale enjoyed small engine repair and helping his neighbors.
He is preceded in death by his father: Curtis R. Monroe; and mother: Alta Odell Bennett.
Dale is survived by his son: Michael A. Monroe and wife Kay of Lawton, Oklahoma; brother: Ronnie Ray Monroe and wife Sisty of Antlers, Oklahoma; sisters: Billie Jean Owen of Hugo, Oklahoma, and Linda Odell Perryman and husband Floyd of Hugo, Oklahoma; and grandchildren: Madeline Monroe of Lawton, Oklahoma, and Allison Monroe of Lawton, Oklahoma; exwife Sundra Harbuck of Allen, Texas as well as numerous Nephews, Nieces, Cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral service for Dale will be held 2PM Wednesday June 12, 2019 at Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, Oklahoma.
