Billie Ruth (Campton) Whiteside of Antlers, Oklahoma, passed from this life Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at the age of 86.

Billie Ruth was born May 22nd, 1932, in Miller, Oklahoma, to Howard Herman and Alce Ava (Latham) Campton. She married Weldon Ray Whiteside on December 23, 1949. They were happily married for 69 years. They have lived in the Little Cedar Community since November 1962 and were members of the Little Cedar Baptist Church.

She leaves behind a loving family that includes her husband, Weldon of the home, three daughters, Patricia and Weldon Cravey of Hugo, Oklahoma, Alma and Mayland Foard, of Childress, Texas, and Elaine and Larry Gee of Antlers, Oklahoma.

She was the oldest of five daughters. Claudine Tally (deceased) Hatti and Joe Emery of San Antonio, Texas, Judy Pryor of Antlers, and Lynda and Ronnie Hale of Fate, Texas.

Billie spent most of her life as a homemaker and helping Weldon with the ranch. She loved fishing, sewing, and gardening.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Alice Campton, sister and brother-in-law Claudine and Don Tally, brother-in-law Ray Pryor, one grandson, Kyle Gee, a great-granddaughter, Sadie Lynn Parker and a great-great grandson, Noah Potter.

She is survived by ten grandchildren, Ronald Potter IV and wife Kristy of Antlers, OK, Jennifer Mickel and husband Brian of Hugo, OK, Michael Potter and wife Ginger of Hugo, OK, and Billy John Potter and wife Jennifer of Porter, Ok. Teresa Sunday and friend, Danny Allen of Goodlet, Texas, Nancy Parker of Fort Worth, Texas, Rhonda Newhouse and husband, Mike of Clarendon, Texas and Brent Foard and wife Melissa of Memphis, Texas. Donnie Gee and wife Tawnya of Antlers, OK and Brad Gee and wife, Stacy of Konawa, Ok.

She has thirty-four great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.

Services for Billie will be held Friday, February 15, 2019 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Antlers. Family night will be Thursday, 6:00-8:00 at the Serenity Funeral Service Chapel.
