Charles Everett Carlile, 70, passed from this life on March 3, 2019 in Hugo, Oklahoma. He was born March 7, 1948 in Soper, Oklahoma to Zelmer Claude Carlile and Jewel Dale Carlile (Weems).
Charles was an Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was of the Church of Christ faith, and worked 18 years as a fork lift operator for Campbell’s Soup. Charles loved hunting, fishing, tinkering with lawnmowers, and spending time with his grandkids. He also enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and Westerns on TV.
He is preceded in death by his mother: Jewel Dale Carlile; father: Zelmer Claude Carlile; brother: George Carlile; and sister: Martha Masters.
Charles is survived by: his sons, Todd Carlile and wife Lisa, and Gary Carlile; daughter, Jennifer Carlile- Henagar and husband Greg; his brothers: ZC Carlile and wife Linda of Redwater, Texas, and Mack Carlile and wife Anna of Talihina, Oklahoma; sisters: Mary Newman and husband Jim of Paris, Texas, and Winola Taylor and husband Byron of Olathe, Kansas, Charlene Phillips and husband James of Antlers, Oklahoma, and Barbara Steele and husband Carroll of Alexander, Arkansas; Grandchildren: Sarah Carlile, Hayden Carlile, Loren Carlile, Austin Shahan, Gabriel Carlile, Alexandria Carlile, and Samantha Carlile- Vaughn; Great- grandchildren: McKenna O’Neal, Piper Carlile, Jessica Brooks, Uriah Miller, and Asher Carlile; along with many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Serenity Funeral Service Chapel.
