Connie Lee Maners (81) passed from this life with his family by his side in Snow, Oklahoma on January 18, 2020. He was born September 9, 1938 to Bertha (Wiggam) Maners in Indianapolis, Indiana. He married Joan Carol Godsey in Lake Tahoe, Nevada on October 28, 1978.
Connie proudly served as Airman Second Class in the United States Air Force. After his time in the service, he worked as an airline mechanic for United Airlines until his retirement. He was a man of many hobbies, some of which were cabinet making, flying planes, hunting, fishing, backpacking, riding motorcycles, riding horses, raising cows, working with computers, and photography.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Bertha Maners; and a brother, Robert Maners.
Connie leaves behind his wife, Carol Maners of the home; his children: Pam Hardy and husband Bill of Pollack Pines, California, Donna Abraham of Pollack Pines, California, and Richard Maners and wife Nicole of Wyoming; brother: Norman Maners of Colville, Washington; sister: Sharon Denton and husband Dean of Snow, Oklahoma; along with six grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Services for Connie will take place at 2PM, Friday, January 24, 2020 at Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, Oklahoma with interment following at Antlers City Cemetery.
Pallbearers include: Rick Maners, Bill Hardy, Andy Heath, Jim Tittsworth, Jim O'Brian, and Ken Autry; with honorary pallbearers Bobby Joslin, Gary Thompson, and Dean Denton.
