Dorthy May Ford, 75, passed from this life January 17, 2020, in Atoka, Oklahoma. She was born October 28th, 1944, in Cade, Oklahoma, to William Andrew Sawyer and Myrtle May (Baker) Sawyer. She married Raymon John Ford April 25, 1964, in Durant, Oklahoma and they were married for forty-five years.
She was an avid gardener and loved quilting. Dorthy also enjoyed teaching her grandchildren to be kind to others. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends. She would want everyone to remember her with a smile.
Dorthy is preceeded in death by her parents: William and Myrtle Sawyer; husband: Raymon Ford; son: Jeffery Duane Ford; brothers: Andrew Sawyer, Gilbert Sawyer, and James Robert Sawyer; sisters: Dora Jane Penick, Elsie Johnston, and Grace Elizabeth Sawyer; dauighter-in-law: Teresa Ford; and special friend: Irene Eubanks.
She leaves behind her sons: Stephen Ford of Rattan, Oklahoma and Donnie Henry and wife April of Atoka, Oklahoma; daughters: Debbie Norris and husband Kevin of Atoka, Oklahoma, Betty Gooley and husband Doug of Stigler, Oklahoma, Dianna Ford of Big Flat, Arkansas, and Sharon Evans and Nathan Sisk of Floral, Arkansas; brother: Delbert Sawyer and wife Ki of Harrah, Oklahoma; sisters: Wilma Nail and husband Ronnie of Savannah, Oklahoma, Lizzie George of Atoka, Oklahoma, and Frances Lamey and husband Bill of Antlers, Oklahoma; sister-in-law: Judy Penick of Atoka, Oklahoma; special friend: Fawna Johnson of Rattan, Oklahoma; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Pallbearers include: Brian Norris, Kevin Norris Jr., Christian Rymel, Casin Rymel, Cameron Fouse, and Justin Bicknell.

Services will be held at Serenity Funeral Service Chapel on Monday, January 20, 2020, at 2pm.
Family night will be held at the Serenity Funeral Service Chapel on Sunday, January 19, 2020, from 3pm-5pm.
