Doyle Hood Baldwin

Doyle Hood Baldwin, 78, passed from this life January 20, 2019 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He was born August 18, 1940 in Hugo Oklahoma to William Wood and Velma Jo (Rosenthal) Baldwin.

Doyle married Carol (Pitt) Baldwin September 24, 1960. He was a lifetime resident of Rattan. Doyle retired from the Department of Human Services as a County Administrator. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Antlers and a member of the Antlers Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed camping at Pine Creek and McGee Creek, watching sports especially when his kids or grandkids were playing, and sitting at the round table being the "CEO of the Round Table at Hood's Corner." Anytime you saw Doyle he always had sports on the television.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Carol Baldwin; parents: William and Velma Baldwin; and brother: Billy Baldwin.

Doyle is survived by his children: Jennifer Jacks and husband Sonny of Norman, Oklahoma, Jill Allen and husband Mike of Shawnee, Oklahoma, and Hood Baldwin and wife Missie of Rattan, Oklahoma; sister: Mozelle Maddox and husband Ed of Idabel, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Josh Jacks and wife Carlee, Jayci Jacks, Cale Allen and wife Katy, Codi Allen, and Kenzi Baldwin; and great-grandchildren: Tripp Allen, Tori Allen, and Markee Jacks.

Family Night will be held 6-8 PM Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Serenity Funeral Service Chapel in Antlers, Oklahoma.

Funeral Services will be held 10 AM Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Antlers First Baptist Church in Antlers, Oklahoma. Interment will be held at the Spencerville Cemetery.
