Evelyn Juanita Troutt- Noffsinger Fleming, 98, our beloved mother, passed away on August 25, 2018 peacefully at her home in Rattan, Oklahoma. She was born November 18, 1919 to Leroy and Idella (Terrell) Trout in Grady County, Oklahoma.
Evelyn has lived in Rattan area since 1976, and a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Rattan, Oklahoma. When Evelyn was younger, she worked as a kitchen cook at OU University for 15 years. She enjoyed painting, crocheting, playing Dominoes, watching football when Dallas Cowboys played, watching the Texas Rangers, quilting, and cooking her famous triple layer coconut cake. Evelyn was a member of the Eastern Star, Sr. Citizen Center in Rattan and the Home Extension Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Leroy and Idella Troutt; her husbands Marvin Noffsinger and Cliff Fleming; son: Monty Noffsinger; granddaughter: Lacy Harris; sister: Loretta Anderson; brothers: Jack Troutt and Truman Anderson.
Evelyn is survived by her children: Leroy Noffsinger of Roseburg, Oregon, Richard Noffsinger of Yoncalla, Oregon, Violet Noffsinger-Collins of Yoncalla, Oregon, Lynn Noffsinger of Rattan, Oklahoma of Rattan, Oklahoma and Lee Ann Duncan of Rattan, Oklahoma; brothers: Ray Troutt and Larry Anderson; sisters: Lolita Anderson-Lemming; 62 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; close friends: Eula Rymel, Marsha Lankford and Katherine Wilkerson; along with other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Evelyn will be held 10 AM Saturday September 1, 2018 at the Serenity Funeral Service Chapel with pastor Shawn Robertson officiating. Pallbearers will be Danny Antwine, Marsha Lankford, Dakota Woodruff, Colt Penner, Adam Courtwright and Kimm William. Honorary pallbearers will include: Cody Janoe, Tanner Wilson and Jo Belk. Interment will be held at 3PM Saturday at Blanchard Cemetery in Blanchard, Oklahoma.
Family night will be from 6-7PM Friday at Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, Oklahoma.
