Geraldine Brandy Tipps

Geraldine Brandy Tipps passed from this life on November 3, 2019 in Garland, Texas. She was born on January 21, 1942 to Rev. Lewis Henry Brandy, Sr. and Donna (Jack) Brandy in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.

Geraldine was a founding member of the American Indian Center of Dallas and was a founding member on the Board of Directors of the American Indian Chamber of Commerce of Texas. In her spare time, she loved shopping.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Rev. Lewis and Donna Brandy; Siblings: Mary Jane Sockey, Helen Wilson, Curtis Brandy, Lewis Henry Brandy Jr., Rebecca Sue Sant, Cassie Nichole Sockey, LaDonna June Wilson, and Garron Wayne Sant; and Grandchildren: Danny Wayne Tipps, Sabrina Marie Tipps, and Derrek Wade Tipps.

Geraldine is survived by her sons: Wayne Tipps and wife Sharon of Antlers, Oklahoma, and Cary Tipps and wife Letha of Wister, Oklahoma; daughters: Tahwanna Jo Welge and husband James of Garland, Texas, and Tahnya Lynn TwoCrow and husband Will of Sachse, Texas; along with other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Geraldine will be held 11 AM Friday November 8, 2019 at the Dallas Indian United Methodist Church, 1205 Hollywood Ave., Dallas, Texas with Reverend J.B. Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at Garland Memorial Park 1600 South Garland Avenue, Garland Texas.

Flowers may be delivered to Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, Oklahoma or be delivered after 9 AM Friday at the Dallas Indian United Methodist Church.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Tipps, Cody Ryan Tipps, Aaron James Welge, Justin Wilson Welge, Logan Jake Welge, Mason Willis Two Crow, Luke Henry Two Crow and Cody Clement Hill. Steven Nguyen will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
