Henry Eldon Cathey, 44, passed from this life on October 13, 2018 in Dallas, Texas. He was born October 25, 1973 in Talihina, Oklahoma to Johnny Beasley and Wanda (Greenwood) Cathey.
Henry was loving son, husband, father, brother, and uncle. He married Neysa Diane Samuels on July 4, 2014. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with family and friends. He loved getting to together with his family and having fish fry's. He loved his dog "Tank" and his bull "Sawdust". He gave nicknames to several people including his nieces, nephews, wife, mother-in-law, and brother. He loved his family and never met anyone that he couldn't become friends with or make laugh.
Henry is preceded in death by his great- grandmother: Ida Graham Greenwood; grandparents: Burl and Marie Ruth Baggs, Sloney and Myrtle Beasley, Ralph and Miami Jones; uncles: Harold Dean Baggs and Wayne Cathey; cousin: Nanih Waiya Wayne Fry.
He is survived by wife Neysa Diane Cathey of Nacogdoches, Texas; mother: Wanda Greenwood Cathey of Antlers, Oklahoma; father: Kelly Cathey of Antlers,Oklahoma; father:Johnny Beasley of Buffalo Valley, Oklahoma; daughters: Taylor Lainge Cathey Ramirez and husband Zachary of Nacogdoches, Texas, Raygin Creek Cathey of Nacogdoches, Texas; sons: Yancy DeRay Cathey and Samuel Wayne Cathey of Nacogdoches, Texas; mother-in-law: Debra Carter of Nacogdoches, Texas; brother: Michael Dean Cathey and wife Heather of Pleasonton, Texas; sister: Natasha Leann Cathey of Muskogee, Oklahoma; nephews: Corbin Michael Cathey and Ryker Dean Cathey of Pleasonton, Texas, and Brice Harper of Antlers, Oklahoma; nieces: Reanna Marie Cathey of Antlers, Oklahoma, and Anna Grace Cathey of Pleasonton, Texas; along with many other relatives, and a host of friends.
Funeral services for Henry will be held 2:00 PM Friday October 19, 2018 at the Serenity Funeral Service' Chapel in Antlers, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at the Cathey Family Cemetery in Antlers, Oklahoma.
Family night will be held at Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers from 6-8 PM Thursday October 18, 2018.
