Jimmy Womack of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed from this life November 17, 2018. He was born January 24, 1951 to Everett and Helen (Leonard) Womack in Antlers, Oklahoma.
Jim served in the United States Air Force after graduating from Antlers. After his military service Jim obtained his Master's Degree in counseling. He worked for many years as a licensed professional counselor for the YMCA. Jim was a faithful Christian who always worked to help others. In his off time he enjoyed motor cross, jet ski racing, swing dancing, snow skiing and competitive shooting. Jim was a member of the Oklahoma Jet Ski Association and Oklahoma Swing Dancing Association. Above all Jim enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Jim is survived by his brother: Charles Womack of Castlerock, Colorado; sister: Barbara Presser of Antlers, Oklahoma; niece: Amy Gay of Antlers, Oklahoma; nephews: Paul Nelson of Antlers, Oklahoma, Chuck Womack of Monument, Colorado and Alan Womack of Castlerock, Colorado; special caregiver: Rosie; and his beloved cats: Bob Tail and Kitty Cat; along with numerous friends and other relatives.
Graveside services for Jimmy will be held 2 PM Monday November 26, 2018 at the Antlers City Cemetery with Mike Stevenson officiating.
Services are under the direction of Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, Oklahoma.
