John Wesley McGuire

John Wesley McGuire passed from this life on January 21, 2020 in McAlester, Oklahoma. He was born July 20th, 1959 to Homer Wesley McGuire and Nell Oleta (Miller) in Los Angeles, California.

John was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, but mostly, spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Homer McGuire and Nell Parker; and his grandparents: James and Pauline Miller, and Homer and Norma McGuire.

John is survived by his special cousin and very best friend, Ruby Tichy; his children: John Wesley McGuire of Cement, Oklahoma, Rocky Wade McGuire and wife Lacy of Ada, Oklahoma, Chelsea McGuire and husband Rick of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Neysa Humphreys and husband Eddie of Mustang, Oklahoma; brothers: Donnie McGuire and wife Mervy of Texas and Robert Hinton and wife Lisa of Cyril, Oklahoma; sisters: Andrea Wallace of California, Cheryl Fanning and husband Andy of Finley, Oklahoma, Terri Chaney and husband Bruce of Cement, Oklahoma, Patricia Nix and husband Jody of Cement, Oklahoma, Sheila Dickson and husband Malcolm of Anadarko, Oklahoma, and Annie Fisher and husband Jack Of El Reno, Oklahoma; and grandchildren: Kayden, Brayden, Brylee, Haylee, Landon, Hunter, Emberly, Shelby, Dalton, Logan, Brian, Sean, and Eli; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services for John will take place Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 2PM at Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, Oklahoma.

Services are under the direction of Serenity Funeral Service.
