Johnnie enjoyed outdoor activities such as fishing, kayaking, and riding motorcycles. He lived in Antlers his entire life.

Johnnie is preceded in death by his parents: Buford and Janita Sipes, and brother: Glenn Sipes.

Johnnie is survived by his daughter: Jennifer (Sipes) Bednarz and husband Blake of Lubbock, Texas; son: Shawn Sipes and wife Ashley of Hutto, Texas; grandchildren: Bryton Bednarz, of Lubbock, Texas, Breck Bednarz of Lubbock, Texas, Bryce Cochran of Lubbock, Texas, and Aria Sipes of Hutto, Texas; sister: Pauline (Sipes) Reed and husband Rex of Granite Falls, North Carolina; nephew: Zach Reed of Granite Falls, North Carolina; and good friends: Phillip Streitz and Bill Myers.

Funeral Services will be held 3PM, Monday, July 1, 2019 at Serenity Funeral Service Chapel in Antlers, Oklahoma.

Interment will be at Dela Cemetery in Dela, Oklahoma.
