Karen Oleta Russell

Karen Oleta Russell, 69, passed away April 28, 2019 in Grapevine, Texas. She was born July 11, 1949 to Thomas and Dorothy (Factor) Duncan in Hugo, Oklahoma.

Karen married Bob Russell on January 1, 1974. She worked at Tommie's Fruit Market for numerous years, and later worked as a caretaker. Karen lived in Hugo her entire life. She was of the Baptist Faith. She absolutely loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Karen is preceded in death by her husband: Bob Russell; her parents: Thomas and Dorothy Duncan; daughter: Lisa Russell; and nephew: Stoney Butler.

Karen is survived by her children Kenny Russell and wife Carrie of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Jeffrey Russell of the home; grandchildren: Ashlyn Johnson and husband Chris of North Lake, Texas, Candice Logan of Hugo, Oklahoma, Kolton, Jake, and Sophia; great-grandchildren: Le'Erin, A'Lisa, Bryce, and Thomas; sister: Patty Butler and Ken Pilkington of Hugo, Oklahoma; and special cousin that was more like a sister to her: Sisty Monroe; along with many other relatives and a host of friends.

Honorary Pallbearers include Kenny Russell, Kolton Russell, Jeff Russell, Justin Butler, Josh Tedder, Ronnie Monroe, Jacob Russell, and Brad Bearden.

Services will be 11 AM, Thursday, May 2, 2019, at Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, Oklahoma.
