Mary Sue Baldwin, 71, passed from this life October 19, 2019, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on May 6, 1948 in Cloudy, Oklahoma, to Seaton and Viola (Owen) Cody.
Mary lived in the Antlers-Hugo area her entire life. She moved to Hugo, Oklahoma eight years ago. Mary was an avid reader. She read many books and would often be reading multiple books at the same time. In her later years she loved getting books from multiple libraries and used audiobooks to continue her reading. She was also a music lover, Gospel and country music were her favorites. She stayed busy taking care of the home and her children. She especially enjoyed keeping up with her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Seaton and Viola Cody; Husband: James Gary Baldwin; Brothers: Tom Cody and Leroy Cody
Mary is survived by her children: James Baldwin of Gallatin, Missouri, and LaDonna Baldwin of Hugo, Oklahoma; sister: Yvonne Harness of Ninnekah, Oklahoma; grandchildren: John, Evelyn, and Jamie Baldwin of Gallatin, Missouri; along with a host of relatives and friends.
Graveside service for Mary will be held 11 AM Thursday October 24, 2019 at the Cloudy Cemetery in Cloudy, Oklahoma.
Services for Mary are under the direction of Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, Oklahoma.
