Maxine Lorine (Neugin) Sorrells

Maxine Lorine Sorrells passed from this life on February 13, 2019 at home in Fort Towson, Oklahoma. She was born on February 12, 1942 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Edward Neugin and Hazel (Ryan) Neugin.

She married the love her life, Marshall Lewis Sorrells in April 1958 in Nogalis, Mexico. Maxine was a member of the Souls Harbor Church. She was a very tough woman who loved her family dearly.

Maxine is preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Sorrells; her parents, Edward and Hazel Neugin; her brothers, Carl Neugin and Billy Neugin; and her granddaughter Gabrielle Rae.

Maxine is survived by her brothers, Herbert Neugin and Dean Neugin of Dallas, Texas; son, Charles Ray Sorrells of Hugo, Oklahoma; daughter, Mary Ann McIntyre and husband, Mark of Fort Towson, Oklahoma; son, Marshall Shane Sorrells and wife, Melissa of Rattan, Oklahoma; Son Jeremiah Reno Sorrells and wife, Roseanna of Antlers, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Bradley, Richard, Shane, Makayla, Gabrielle, Sonny, Tanja, Donna, Kristen, Hannah, and Isaac; great-grandchildren: Madeline, Cayd, Hailey, Briley, Abby, Hunter, Gracie, Kadence, Keydon, Kyston, Kairie, William, Chloe, and Ross, as well as numerous other family and friends.

Services for Maxine will be at graveside at Butler Cemetery in Lane, Oklahoma at 11:00 AM Friday, February 15, 2019. Family night will be Thursday, February 14, 2019 at the Serenity Funeral Service Chapel.
