Neola Massey-Cole Obituary
Neola Gladiene Massey-Cole, 63, of Antlers, Oklahoma passed away Saturday July 21, 2018 at Cornerstone Hospital in Muskogee, Oklahoma surrounded by her family. Gladiene was born to the late Claude and Edith (Holladay) Massey on July 10, 1955 in Antlers, Oklahoma.
Gladiene worked in housekeeping for the Antlers Nursing Home for many years. She also worked at most of the restaurants in Antlers and she was known for her wonderful cooking. Gladiene loved to make jewelry and would wear anyone out playing Farkle. She also enjoyed talking to people online and getting to know them. She was proud to learn how to use the new phones and everyone knew not to mess with her phone as it was her whole world. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Gladiene was preceded in death by her parents: Claude and Edith Massey; the father of her two sons: Larry Cole; her brother: Ronald "Ronnie" Massey; her half brothers: Claude William Massey, Hampton Lee Massey, Marvin Askew, Norman Askew; her half sisters: Ella Grace Massey, Delta Massey, Venetia (Kincaid) Mustain.
She is survived by her two sons: Larry Allen Cole and wife Barbara of Stringtown, Oklahoma, Al Cole and wife Kelly of Antlers, Oklahoma; five grandchildren: Brittany, Heather, Nataleigh, Ashley and Christopher; one great granddaughter: Jaidyn Morehead; two half sisters: Joyce (Kincaid) Sewell of Marysville, California, Claudine (Massey) Sloan and husband Clifford of Fay, Oklahoma; half brother: James "Corky" Kincaid and friend Dean; a brother: Leonard Massey and wife Linda of Antlers, Oklahoma; a sister: Deborah Broomfield and husband Vernon of Wilburton, Oklahoma; a sister in law: Toye Massey of Wilburton, Oklahoma; along with a host of friends and family.
Graveside services for Gladiene will be held 5:00 PM Sunday, July 22, 2018 at the Cole Cemetery.
Services for Gladiene are entrusted with Serenity Funeral Service.
