Prentice Lynn Allen

Prentice Lynn Allen (75) passed from this life on January 16, 2019 in Denison, Texas. He was born on October 7, 1943 to Campbell Allen and Pauline “Polly” (Dickerson) Allen in Hugo, Oklahoma.

Lynn was an Air Force veteran who served as a weapons mechanic in Vietnam. He was a long time resident of Antlers, Oklahoma and a member of the Church of Christ. Lynn loved golfing, attending his church, and spending time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by: his parents, Campbell Allen and Pauline “Polly” Allen; and sister: Barbara Jean Brown.

Lynn is survived by his children: son, Chris Thumma of Frederick, MD; daughters, Ellen Marsh DeAngelis of La Cresenta, CA and Kristina (Tina) Allen Gallo of San Jose, CA; Dennis Allen of Bogata, TX; step-children: MicKayla Joslin of Antlers, OK; Kelsea Cagle of Clayton, OK; and Haylea Cessna of Antlers, OK; uncle: Hardy Dickerson of Antlers, OK; aunt: Jimmie Dickerson of Antlers, OK; Nieces: Terri Morgan of McAlester, OK and Debbie Mills of Antlers, OK; 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and numerous cousins, family, and friends throughout the U.S.

Services for Lynn Allen will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 10 AM at the Church of Christ at 201 NE A Street in Antlers, OK. Graveside service and inurnment will follow at Antlers City Cemetery. There will be a lunch and celebration of life at the Church of Christ following the graveside service.
