Roger Dickerson Obituary
Roger "Lefty" Dickerson, age 82, passed from this life with his family by his side, February 6, 2019 in Antlers, Oklahoma. Lefty was born June 20, 1936 to Tom and Dorothy (Mace) Dickerson at Sobol, Oklahoma.
Lefty was a lifetime resident of Southeast Oklahoma. He was an Army Veteran in the early 50s and a member of the Methodist Church. Lefty enjoyed spending his free time hunting, fishing, and watching baseball.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Dorothy Dickerson, and his brother David
Dickerson.
Lefty is survived by his brother: Norman Leon Dickerson of Sobol, Oklahoma; Uncle: Junior Dickerson and wife Jimmie of Antlers, Oklahoma; family members: Rick and Virgie Dickerson of Sobol, Oklahoma, Daniel Dickerson of Hugo, Oklahoma, Keyla Williams of Sobol, Oklahoma, Jewel Boling of Hugo, Oklahoma, and Carla Longley of Hugo, Oklahoma, along with a host of other family and friends.
Graveside services for Lefty will be held 2 PM Saturday February 9, 2019 at Sobol Cemetery.
Family night 6-7 PM Friday February 8, 2019 at Serenity Funeral Service.
Services are under the direction of Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, Oklahoma.
