Roy Paul Sorrells

Roy Paul Sorrells, 73, passed from this life Monday, September 17, 2018 in Antlers, Oklahoma. He was born March 13, 1945 in Atoka, Oklahoma to Charles Leroy and Olive Marion (Adkisson) Sorrells.

Paul married Sandra Travis June 23, 1979 at Souls Harbor Church. He was of the Pentecostal faith and lived most of his life in Antlers. Paul worked as a truck driver/ heavy equipment operator for Ken Bean Dozer Inc. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching football, and spending time with family and friends.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents: Charles and Olive Sorrells; daughters: Sarah Lynette and Yvette Cathleen Sorrells; brothers: Charles Sorrells, Amos Sorrells, Darrell Sorrells, and Marshall Sorrells; and sister: Sue Mitchell.

He is survived by his loving wife of the home: Sandra Sorrells; sons: Kenny Sorrells of Moore, Oklahoma, Carson Sorrells of Antlers, Oklahoma, and Preston Sorrells of  Antlers, Oklahoma; daughter: Bonnie Wolfe of Antlers, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Savannah, Sarah, and Katie Sorrells  of Raeford, North Carolina, Carlee and Zoe Sorrells of Antlers, Oklahoma, Lily and Logan Sorenson of Antlers, Oklahoma, Lacie Weathers of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Jacob Sorrells of Moore, Oklahoma, Cierra Sorrells of Moore, Oklahoma, and Amos Sorrells of Moore, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren: Sofia and Kyler Weathers of Moore, Oklahoma; brothers: Donald Sorrells of Antlers, Oklahoma, Leon Sorrells of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Wayne Sorrells of Willcox, Arizona; and sisters: Virginia Collins of Antlers, Oklahoma, Debra Juanita Vincent of Phoenix, Arizona , Linda Mack of Antlers, Oklahoma, and Mona Illapotubbee of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; along with many other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held 2PM Sunday September 23, 2018 at Butler Cemetery in Lane, Oklahoma.

Family night will be 6-8PM Saturday September 22, 2018 at the Serenity Funeral Service chapel in Antlers, Oklahoma.
