Sammie Hutson

Sammie Rogers Hutson, 76, went to be with our lord on April 25, 2019. He was born on October 27, 1942 to James C. Hutson and Alpha Jane (Sanders) Hutson in Daisy, Oklahoma.

Sammie lived his entire life in Southeast Oklahoma where he worked as a bus driver and a rancher. He was of the Baptist faith. Sammie loved his horses and working cows.

He is preceded in death by his parents: James C. and Alpha Jane Hutson; brothers: Buddy Hutson, T.D. Hutson, Sonny Hutson, T.M. Hutson, and Billy Joe Hutson; and sisters: Tressie Lowe and Flora Isom.

Sammie is survived by his children: Clint Hutson of Daisy, Oklahoma and Chris Hutson and Jo Belk of Rattan, Oklahoma; brother: Herman Hutson; grandchildren: Shane and wife Lauren Hutson of Atoka, Oklahoma, Kristen Loyd and husband Sean of Atoka, Oklahoma, Cameron Hutson and Cailey Hutson of McAlester, Oklahoma, Jackson Hutson; great-grandchildren: Kynsingten Loyd, Tyler and Samuel Gus Hutson; and special friends Barbara Hutson and Lynette Standridge.

Graveside services for Sammie will be held Sunday, April 28, 2019 at 2PM at Mountain Home Cemetery in Daisy, Oklahoma.

Services have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Service of Antlers, Oklahoma.
