Sherry Lee (Owens) Jimenez

Sherry Lee (Owens) Jimenez, age 44, passed from this life November 29, 2019 in Antlers, Oklahoma. She was born to Lloyd and Kathy (McAfee) Owens on September 15, 1975 in Antlers, Oklahoma.

Sherry was known as an artist by many who knew her. In her earlier years she worked as a florist. She had a keen eye for beauty in all things. She loved anything that sparkled. Sherry was a graduate of Atoka High School. She was also a dog groomer for many people and loved the work and the dogs she got to work with. Another passion Sherry had was cooking, she enjoyed getting to cook meals for her family and friends. On March 10, 2019 she married Christopher Jimenez.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents: Bud and Christal Owens, Doug and Nelda (Sis) Mcafee of Antlers, Oklahoma; Uncles: James Owens and BB Owens of Antlers, Oklahoma, Harold McAfee of Antlers, Oklahoma; Cousin: Haylee Mae Owens of Antlers, Oklahoma.

Sherry is survived by her husband: Christopher Jimenez of Antlers, Oklahoma; parents: Loyd and Kathy (McAfee) Owens of Antlers, Oklahoma, brother: Ronnie Owens of Antlers, Oklahoma; Uncles: Donald Owens of Centerpoint, Oklahoma, Dugan Penner and wife Anita of Dike, Texas; along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Services for Sherry will be at the Serenity Funeral Service chapel, Saturday December 7, 2019 at 1:00pm. Services are entrusted to Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, Oklahoma.
