Tommy J (Rhodes) Allen

Tommy J Allen, 80, passed from this life surrounded by her loving family. Tommy was born July 7, 1938 at Hamdin, Oklahoma to Lee and Alta (Pate) Rhodes.

She married Gene Allen May 15, 1957 at the First Baptist Church in Antlers, Oklahoma. She worked for many years until retirement as an attendant from the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority. Tommy’s joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Lee and Alta Rhodes; her brother: Milton Rhodes and her grandson: Tony Coggins.

Tommy is survived by her husband of the home: Gene Allen; her children: LeighAnn McCollugh and husband Rick of Antlers, Vicki Coggburn and husband Carter of Antlers, and Mike Allen and wife Jill of Shawnee; one sister: Sue Ellen Young of Wilburton, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Sara Bell and husband Michael, April Coggins, Rachel Rabon and husband Kye, Cale Allen and wife Katy, Codi Allen; great grandchildren: Tripp and Tori Allen, Dyllynn, Ty, Legend, Journey and Adventure Bell; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services for Tommy will be held 10 AM Thursday January 3, 2019 at the Serenity Funeral Service Chapel with Brent Franks officiating. 

Family night will be held Wednesday January 2, 2019 from 6-8 PM at Serenity Funeral Service.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Cancer Research or the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

Cremation services are entrusted with Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, Oklahoma.
