Vesta Lee (Robertson) Liles

Vesta Lee Liles (Robertson) passed away peacefully in Longview, Texas on May 14, 2019 at the age of 89. By her side was her oldest son, Mark Liles, daughter in law Bobbi Liles, brother Billy Dean Robertson, and oldest granddaughter Michelle Reed. Vesta was born December 10, 1929 to Elmer Lee Robertson and Aubrey Belle Ricketts of Antlers, Oklahoma. Vesta married Melvin Truman Liles on March 23, 1951 in Salida, California. Vesta and Melvin lived in Manteca, California for approximately 70 years.

Vesta spent most of her life raising her four sons and was the bookkeeper of her home church and the construction business she owned with Melvin. There was nothing Vesta loved more than her family. She always enjoyed watching sports, doing crossword puzzles, horse racing, and going to church faithfully.

Vesta leaves behind her four sons: Mark Liles and wife Bobbi of Henderson, Texas, Victor Liles and wife Brenda of Caldwell, Idaho, Alan Liles and wife Becky of National City, California, and Tommy Liles and wife Molly of Paloverde, California; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Billy Dean Robertson, James Edward Robertson, Elmer Vance Robertson, Betty Lou Wyman, and Carol Ann Long.

Celebration of life services will be held at First Assembly of God, 600 SE 1st Street, Antlers, Oklahoma at 2:00 PM on May 19, 2019 with Danny Menges of Bar None Cowboy Church officiating. Food and Fellowship will immediately follow. Inurnment will take place at the Antlers City Cemetery.

Services have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, Oklahoma.
