Violet Lawanda Pearce, 51, passed from this life January 4, 2019 in McAlester, Oklahoma. She was born October 5, 1967 to Archie H. and Violet V. (Cummins) Mills in Grayson County, Texas.

Lawanda married Will Ray Pearce September 5, 2017 in McAlester, Oklahoma and enjoyed arts and crafts.

She was preceded in death by her parents Archie and Violet Mills and one son Shane Hendryx.

Lawanda is survived by her husband William Ray Pearce of the home; children: Tony J. Crabtree, Carrie Moore, Hollie Lupton, Jason Hendryx and Jennifer Burch; brothers: Archie and Roy Mills; one sister: Mary Carshall; grandchildren: Hagen Lupton, Moira Lupton, and Destiny Crabtree; along with many other relatives and friends.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.

Cremation services are entrusted with Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, Oklahoma.
