Wilfrid Yant

Wilfrid "Buck" Andrew Yant, age 101, passed from this life January 21, 2020 in Hugo, Oklahoma. He was born May 31, 1918 to Daniel August and Emelda Madori Yant in Fall River, Massachusetts.

Buck married Willie Crisp and they enjoyed fishing, camping, and gardening together. He was a Pastor for Moyers Baptist Church for many years. He was a resident of Moyers for 57 years and enjoyed crocheting and puzzles.

He is preceded in death by his wife: Willie Yant; parents: Daniel and Emelda Yant; brothers: Oliver and Daniel; and sisters: Irene, Martha, and Yvonne.

Buck is survived by his children: Trumon Yant and wife Alene; sister: Ramona Harris; grandchildren: Vicki Shipman and husband Todd; Leann Brockman and husband Neal; great-grandchildren: Colten Bison, David Brockman, and Brayden Brockman; along with many other relatives and a host of friends.

Pallbearers are Todd Shipman, Brayden Brockman, David Brockman, Roy Yant, Danny Yant, Mark Griffin, and David Griffin.
Family night will be held 6-8PM, Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Serenity Fuenral Service Chapel.
Funeral services will be held 2PM, Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Moyers First Baptist Church in Moyers, Oklahoma with Brett Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Kosoma Cemetery in Kosoma, Oklahoma.
Services are entrusted with Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, Oklahoma.
