A.C. "Benney" Duncan Obituary
A.C. "Benney" Duncan, 77, passed from this life Saturday, February 6th, 2021, in Tyler, Texas. He was born September 11, 1943, in Lake View, Oregon, to Louis and Lydia (Breshears) Duncan.
Benney was of the Baptist faith and attended church in Moyers, Oklahoma. In his younger years, Benney worked as a pipeline welder. He married Jan Murray on May 13, 1962, in Antlers, Oklahoma. They were blessed with three daughters and over forty joyful years of marriage together before her passing in 2004. He later married Vicki Martin on September 19, 2008, in Moyers, Oklahoma and they spent twelve happy years together as well. Benney enjoyed hunting and fishing in his free time. He was a master wood worker who you could often find fixing things around the house that he had broken. Above all else, Benney loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his first wife: Jan (Murray) Duncan; father: Louis Duncan; mother: Lydia Duncan; sister: Carol Felinkatubbe; and brother: Tommy Duncan.
Benney is survived by his wife: Vicki Duncan of the home; children: Robbin Rogers and husband Dewayne of Antlers, Oklahoma, Bobbie Davis and husband John of Gainesville, Texas and Stephanie Deupree and husband Charley of Antlers, Oklahoma; step-children: Samantha Martin of Moyers, Oklahoma, Jami Martin and significant other David of Hugo, Oklahoma, Taylor Phillips and significant other Haley of Antlers, Oklahoma and Ryan Phillips of Antlers, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Bryan Rogers, Sidney Deupree, Colton Fleming, Courtney Wright, Shelbi Johnston, Clay Rogers, Charli Deupree, Emily Davis and Trent Davis; step-grandchildren: Jemma Martin, Evan Martin, Noah Martin, Brooklyn Hopson, Nikki Hopson, Trevor Phillips, Stella Phillips, Zander Rhinehart and Zane Rhinehart; numerous great grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers include: Bryan Rogers, Clay Rogers, Colton Fleming, Trent Davis, Josh Wright, Rock Johnston and Taylor Phillips.
Funeral Services will be held at 2pm, Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at Serenity Funeral Service Chapel, in Antlers, Oklahoma with Brett Miller officiating. Burial to follow at Kosoma Cemetery, in Moyers, Oklahoma.
