Aaron Samuel Cockrill, age 35, passed away on June 14, 2026 in Paris, Texas. He was born on April 11, 1991, in Antlers, Oklahoma, and lived a life of kindness, faith, and the quiet strength of a loving son, brother, and friend.
He loved Harry Potter and enjoyed the imagination found in those stories. He also enjoyed video games, which gave him a chance to relax and have fun. Aaron especially treasured time spent at church, where he found fellowship and encouragement to grow in his faith. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends and looked forward to going to the movies with his friend Jimmy.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hazel Cockrill, Morris Cockrill, and Irene Brown.
Aaron is survived by his parents, Randy and Charlotte Cockrill, who loved him dearly and will forever hold his memory close to their hearts. He is also survived by his brother, Adam Cockrill, and sister, Alisha Cooper and husband Terry Cooper, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who shared in his life and will continue to carry his memory forward with love. His family will remember him for the warmth he brought into their lives and the bond they shared through the years.
A family night will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Serenity Funeral Service. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Serenity Funeral Service Chapel with Randy Cockrill officiating. Interment will follow at the Antlers City Cemetery. Pallbearers include: Christopher Turner, Justin Roger, Jimmy Krueger, Adam Cockrill, Sam Rogers, Terry Cooper, and Blaine Baker.
Services are under the direction of Serenity Funeral Service of Antlers.
