Alberta Clo LeFlore, a woman of wisdom, passed away on August 5, 2023, in Farmersville, TX. Born to Quartermaine Donica and Mary Donica Prager on August 23, 1936, in Nashoba, OK, Alberta led a life of purpose marked by a long career in education.
Alberta dedicated much of her life to the growth of young minds. Her commitment to education was demonstrated through her passionate work as a teacher, a role she held until her retirement. Reflecting her educational pursuits, Alberta was an accomplished individual who held a master's degree.
In her lifetime, Alberta was blessed with an enveloping family. She was preceded in death by her cherished husband: Robert Benjamin LeFlore; and her siblings: Tom, Gale, and Raymond Donica.
Surviving her are her loving children: Robert Timothy LeFlore and wife Penny, Max Roger LeFlore, and Janet Lorraine Weaver; and her brother Dewight Donica. Alberta was grandmother to six precious grandchildren: Jennifer Speelman, Robert Weaver, Stephanie Weaver-Swabb, Tony Weaver, Koi LeFlore, and Kendall LeFlore; as well as eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside inurnment services will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 11AM at the Finley Cemetery pavilion.
Services are under the direction of Serenity Funeral Service and Cremations of Antlers, OK.
