Alice Morgan Obituary

Alice Rose Morgan, age 93, formerly of Snow and McAlester, Oklahoma, passed away August 30, 2025 at the Choctaw Nursing Home after a long battle with dementia. 

 Alice was born March 5, 1932 to the late John Ervin and Hannah (Plants) Grewell in Newcomerstown, Ohio. She was the mother of four children,  Dixie Ranallo (Larry) of Antlers,  Peggy Randazzo of McAlester,  Dwight Morgan III (Sheryl) of Eager, AZ, Tim Morgan (Annette) of Enid. She has 12 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. 

  Alice was one of 13 siblings. She was preceded in death by her brothers, James (Viola), Earl (Barbie), Robert, Lorin (Roxanna), Walter (Nancy), Richard (Kay) Grewell and sisters Tacy Ray, Dorothy (Art) Courtney, and Helen (Wellington) Gotshall.

  She is survived by her brother Victor (Reta) Grewell and sisters Mary (Richard) Campbell, and Thelma (Lewis) St. Clair, all of Newcomerstown, Ohio.

  Alice was a past member of the First Baptist Church in Finley and Frink Baptist Church in McAlester. 

  Alice enjoyed, family, ranching, gardening/canning, sewing, crocheting, and crafts. She was especially proud of the ribbons she won at the Pushmataha County Fair. She leaves many homemade items for her family to honor her memory.

  After a private ceremony,  Alice was laid to rest beside her late husband,  Dwight Morgan Jr., in the Antlers City Cemetery.
