Allan David Wood, 81, passed away in Paris, TX on December 10, 2025. He was born in Ionia, MI on April 11, 1944 to Allen Wood and Doris (Lovrien) Wood. He had been a resident of Lawrence, MI before relocating to Snow, OK within the last ten months to be closer to his family. 

Allan was a member of the Tate Freewill Baptist Church. He spent his free time enjoying the outdoors, with hobbies like fishing, woodworking, bird watching, and animal husbandry. Allan was a MHSAA Track and Field official for over 30 years, and was a dedicated member of the Michigan High School Athletic association. 

He is preceded in death by his daughter: Jill Wood; parents: Allen Wood and Doris Wood; and grandparents: Lewis and Bertha Wood, and Harvey and Edna Lovrien. 

Allan is survived by his children: Paul Wood of Ashford, Kent, UK, and JoAnn Burke of Snow, OK; sisters: Penny Huhn of Matherton, MI, and Jenny Gabel of Westphalia, MI; grandchildren: Connor Wood of Finley, OK, Zion Wood of San Antonio, TX, and Astarte Wood of Oklahoma City, OK; and great-grandchildren: Alayna Wood, Aryiana Wood, Sabrina Wood, and Cyanna Wood.
