Amy Juanita "Billie" Speaks Beal, 98, of Nashville, TN, passed away on
January 20, 2024 in Nashville, TN, her home for the past eleven years.
Billie was born in Kellond, OK to Newton Grover and Cora Lee Speaks on
September 19, 1925. She attended school at Kellond, OK where she graduated from Kellond High School. She married William Denver Beal on July 18th, 1942 in Antlers, OK. Years after the family moved to California she took College classes at Riverside City College in Riverside, CA. She was a homemaker most of her married life, but worked as a member of the Riverside, CA Police Department for several years. She was always actively involved in her church, where she sang in the choir, and served as Sunday School Teacher for many, many years.

Billie is preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Cora Speaks, her husband, Denver, her two sons, William Samuel Beal and Hollis Denver Beal, her grandson, Gregg Burch and several siblings: Ephraim Speaks, Violet Sweeten, Dorothy Leech, Jackie Barton, Geri Ridley, and Christine Barcum.

Billie Beal is survived by two daughters, Carol Stallings of Nashville, TN and Kay Theobald of Allen, TX: four grandchildren, Jeff Burch, Sean Burch, Kari Theobald and Amy Porterfield, and two great grandchildren, Joshua and Nathan Porterfield, a sister Tomie Webster of Oklahoma City, and a host of other nieces and nephews she adored.

A Grave Side Service will be held on Saturday, February 3, at 1:00 p.m. at City Cemetery in Antlers, OK with Reverend Mack Rogers officiating.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Burch, Sean Burch, Robert Barcum, Mike Barcum, Tom Webster and Les Stallings.

Services are under the direction of Serenity Funeral Service of Antlers, OK.
