Angela Kay O'Roark was born to Garland and Berniece Knowles on April 21, 1965 in Modesto, California. She passed from this life into eternity on May 3, 2025 in Idabel, Oklahoma.
Although Angie was a resident of Oklahoma for almost twenty years, she was raised in Modesto, California. It was there at the young age of thirteen that she met the love of her life, Arvil O'Roark, Jr. who we all know and love as Buster. They were wed in 1983 and have spent the last 42 years building a life, raising a family, and serving the Lord together.
Angie loved to play the piano and sing. She used her beautiful talents everywhere she went, but she was especially proud to play and sing within the church as she faithfully served alongside her husband, Buster, as they ministered throughout the years.
Her children and grandchildren were some of Angie's most prized accomplishments in life. She was a proud mom and Bammie. She loved her family well and was always there whenever they needed her. Angie was willing to give tough love when it was necessary, make a joke, or just give a big hug when words were not needed. She always found a way to demonstrate her love to those around her.
When Angie was not playing the piano and singing or serving her family, she could be found reading or completing crossword puzzles. She and Buster also were especially fond of the beach. It was there that they most loved to enjoy each other's company and take in the beauty of God's creation that was all around them.
Angie is survived by her husband: Buster of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, her children: Misty O'Roark of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Jonathon O'Roark and wife Tamara of Antlers, Oklahoma, and Michael O'Roark and wife Stephanie of Collinsville, Oklahoma, her grandchildren: Timothy Kissee, Dylan Kissee and fiancé Baylyn Taylor, Abigail Brown, Colby O'Roark, Olivia O'Roark, Elijah O'Roark, Dean O'Roark, James O'Roark, and Austen O'Roark, along with countless other family, friends, and loved ones.
Angie is preceded in death by her parents, Garland and Bernice Knowles, Randy Hall, Arvil Sr. and Barbara O'Roark, Edith O'Roark, Stephen and Geneva Keck, and Jennifer Self.
Angie was an amazing wife and a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, auntie, and friend. She was deeply loved and will be deeply missed until we are reunited in heaven.
