Arthur Ray Petty

Arthur Ray Petty, Jr., age 72, passed away on June 20, 2026, in Paris, Texas. He was born on October 16, 1953, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Arthur enjoyed hunting and fishing, pastimes that gave him peace and allowed him to spend time outdoors doing what he loved. He also enjoyed playing dominoes and watching Gunsmoke. These interests were a meaningful part of who he was, and they brought him many hours of enjoyment over the years.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Jerri (Staggs) Petty; his parents: Idella Mae (Akers) Petty and Arthur Petty, Sr.; and his brother: Matt Petty.

Arthur is survived by his son: Travis Petty of Antlers, Oklahoma.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 2:00 PM in the Serenity Funeral Service Chapel.
