Austin Dillishaw Obituary

Austin Ray Dillishaw, 48, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2023, in his hometown of Antlers, Oklahoma. Born on May 1, 1975, Austin lived a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Austin was a proud graduate of Antlers High School, where he formed lifelong friendships and developed a strong sense of community. He was known for his friendly, thoughtful, and selfless nature, always putting the needs of others before his own. Austin's warm smile and kind heart touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him.

In his leisure time, Austin enjoyed relaxing and watching television, often sharing his favorite shows and movies with family and friends. He also found solace in fishing, a pastime that allowed him to connect with nature and appreciate the beauty of his surroundings. Above all, Austin cherished spending time with his loved ones, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

Austin is survived by his devoted family, including his brother, Justin Conley of Rattan, Oklahoma; sisters, April Kelly of Antlers, Oklahoma, Brenda Pope of Rattan, Oklahoma, Crystal Dillishaw of Antlers, Oklahoma, and Kendra Dillishaw of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He also leaves behind a legacy of love with his nieces and nephews, Briana Dillishaw, Kaydence Hogan, Kayson Dillishaw, Kiyzer Pope, Tristen Sutterfield, Alesha Kelly, Jordan Kelly, Deason Kelly, Brooklyn Kelly, Ayden Conley, and Rustin Conley. Austin's memory will also be cherished by numerous other family members and friends who were blessed to know him.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Betty Sue (Fairless) and Clarence "Pete" Dillishaw; grandparents, Allie and Irene Fairless, Clarence and Betty Dillishaw; and niece, Alyxia Dillishaw.

Austin's life was a testament to the power of love, kindness, and generosity. His unwavering commitment to his family and friends will forever be remembered, and his spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known him.

As we mourn the loss of Austin Ray Dillishaw, we also celebrate the life he lived and the countless ways he touched the hearts of those around him. His memory will live on in the stories we share, the laughter we remember, and the love we hold in our hearts. Rest in peace, dear Austin, knowing that your legacy will continue to shine brightly in the lives of all who loved you.

Family night for Austin will be held from 6-8 PM Monday May 22, 2023 at Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Tuesday May 23, 2023 at Serenity Funeral Service with Jr. Dillishaw officiating. Burial will follow at Darwin Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Clifton Fairless, David Rees, Wesley Heffner, Richard Dillishaw, Scott Freeman, Justin Conley, Conner Wood, Eugene Black, and Ben Baxter. Honorary pallbearers will be Chad Conley, Amanda Heffner and Ronald Fairless.

Services are under the direction of Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, Oklahoma.
