Beatrice (Parker) Williston, 72 of Antlers, passed from this life in Ada, Oklahoma on January 23, 2021. She was born in Hendrix, Oklahoma on August 21, 1948 to Lee and Betsy (Johnson) Parker. Beatrice married Angus Ray Williston on December 20, 1970.
Beatrice was a lion-hearted woman who overcame many hardships in life. She had a sweet, loving, and humorous spirit and was loved by many. Her love for people was evident in her 30 years as a CHR for the Choctaw Nation. She spent countless hours helping others in whatever way she could. Beatrice enjoyed celebrating her heritage by making Choctaw dresses, studying the Choctaw language, beading, making banaha, and singing Choctaw hymns. She also enjoyed watching old movies, sports with her husband, and going to concerts. She adored her children, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the adventure of her life.
Beatrice is preceded in death by her loving husband: Angus Ray Williston; her parents: Lee and Betsy Parker; children: Lance Williston, Sharon Willis- Bridges, and Ray Van Williston; and brother: Johnny Parker.
She is survived by her children: Lance Williston II of Antlers, Diana Williston of Antlers, and Tiffaney Williston of Idabel; siblings: Rosalie Damron, Voncille Kasgnoc, Letty Harris, and David Parker; grandchildren: Bradyn Batson, Blaze Batson, Kylee Williston, Emilee Williston, Khannor Williston, Milo Williston, Angus Williston II, Logun Williston, Grant Rethman, Tyler Bridges, and Dustin Willis, and three great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Services for Beatrice will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 10AM at the Serenity Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Jonathan Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Canfield Cemetery in Idabel, Oklahoma at 2 PM Saturday January 30, 2021.
Family night will be held from 6-8 PM on Friday January 29, 2021 at Serenity Funeral Service.
