Beth Geraldine Gann, age 29 and holding, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2025, in Paris, Texas, surrounded by the love and warmth of her family. Born on November 8, 1944, in Ballinger, Texas, she was the daughter of Ward and Marie (West) Crager, and grew up imbued with the values of love, faith, and perseverance.
Beth's life was a rich tapestry woven with love and commitment. On January 18, 1962, she married her beloved Calvin Gann in Aspermont, Texas, launching a shared journey that was both nurturing and full of cherished memories. Their lives were blessed with the creation of a loving family that expanded with the happy addition of children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Throughout 57 years as a resident of Antlers and Daisy, Oklahoma, Beth's life was exemplified by her passion for social connection and her unwavering support for her family. She delighted in attending her grandchildren's sporting events, where she was their greatest fan, and found solace and strength in her Soul Sisters bible study group. Her enduring love for travel often found her embarking on cruises, experiencing the wonders of the world with her loved ones.
Beth is celebrated and remembered as a beacon of light and joy by her family members. She is preceded in death by her pillars of strength; her parents, Ward and Marie Crager, as well as her loving husband, Calvin Gann, and her dear brothers Sam and Glenn Crager. She leaves behind a legacy through her children: Kevin Gann and wife Debra of Antlers, Oklahoma, Kam Harden and husband John of Daisy, Oklahoma, Kay Hamman and husband Monty of Nashoba, Oklahoma, and Kaci Applegate and husband Michael of Paris, Texas; her sister-in-law Rose Mary Crager of Cleburne, Texas; her adoring grandchildren: Hannah, Heather, Diedre, Mariah, Sheena, Monika, Zack, Randy, Andrew, and Elijah; along with her cherished great-grandchildren Brady, Dalton, Emily, Jaevin, Judd, Dane, Davy, Jolyn, Averi, Graham, Eliza, and Dawson.
Beth's life was a testament to the power of nurturing relationships. Her pride and joy were her family, and the time they spent together was truly priceless. Her warmth, compassion, and kindness touched the hearts of not just her family but also numerous friends who were blessed to know her.
Beth has left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who loved her, and though she will be greatly missed, the essence of who she was will live on through the stories shared, memories cherished, and the love she so freely gave. Her spirit, a gentle reminder of the beauty of a life well-lived, continues to inspire us all.
Family night will be held from 6-8 PM Saturday April 5, 2025 at the Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, Oklahoma.
Funeral Service for Beth will be held 2PM Sunday April 6, 2025 at the Covenant Christian Church in Paris, Texas with burial following at Daisy Cemetery in Daisy, Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be Clint Hutson, Chris Hutson, Bruce Bacon, Randy Hamman, James "Jimbo" Covert and Zack Harden.
Services are under the direction of Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, Oklahoma.
