Betty Lou "Bill" Rosson, born on April 10, 1939 in Antlers, OK, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2023 in Hugo, OK.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Cleavis Justus Rosson, parents Clayton and Helen Spencer, and grandsons Justin Lee Ashley and Justin Ryan Ashley, and she carried their memories in her heart.
She will be lovingly remembered by her devoted children; Cleavis Ray Rosson and Vickie Dodd of Rattan, OK, Caroline Ashley and husband Robert of Rattan, OK, and Charlotte Said and husband Yousry of Bedford, TX. She was a cherished grandmother to Charline Sweeden and husband Josh of Rattan, OK, Ray Rosson and wife Sandra of Rattan, OK, Trinity, Justin, Grassy, Zainab, Hoda, Yasmin, Heba, AR, and Tazneem, and a doting great-grandmother to 22. She also leaves behind 2 half brothers and a half sister, as well as countless other friends and relatives whom she held dear.
Best described as a loving wife and mother, Betty devoted her life to caring for others. She touched many lives in her roles as the head of housekeeping at Antlers Manor and as a dedicated farmer. Her hard work and compassion enriched the lives of those around her and her memory will continue to inspire.
Betty's life was a testament to enduring love and resilience. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. As we mourn her loss, we also celebrate a life well lived.
Graveside services for Betty Rosson will be held 2PM, Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at the Rattan Cemetery.
A family night will be held on Monday, September 25, 2023 from 6PM- 8PM.
Services are under the direction of Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, Oklahoma.
