Obituary
Betty Jean Yant passed peacefully from this life on March 19, 2023 at her home in Moyers, Oklahoma. She was born to Alvin and Chanetta (Hayes) Corley on September 24th, 1932, in Vernon, Texas.
Betty was a proud Christian woman and a member of the Church Of Christ, in Clayton, Oklahoma. She had a beautiful soul. Betty was talented in many aspects of life, especially quilting. Quilting was Betty's passion, and she found great joy in it. Above all else, Betty loved spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Betty was preceded in death by her first husband: Daniel A. Yant; daughter: Loretta Greenway; brothers: Don Corley, Eddie Corley, Clinton Corley; sisters: Chanetta Whitehead, Charlene Jackson, Eva Bond; Father: Alvin Corley; and Mother: Chanetta Corley.
She is survived by her husband: Donald Earl Cornish; and children: Roy Yant and Daniel Yant.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 25th, 2023 at 1PM at the Clayton Church of Christ followed by a graveside service at Kosoma Cemetery.
Services have been entrusted with Serenity Funeral Service of Antlers.
