Billy E. Daniels

Billy E. Daniels, age 85, passed peacefully at his home November 20, 2018 in Finley, Oklahoma. Billy was born April 6, 1933 to Hubert and Mary Elizabeth (Biffel) Daniels in Bonham, Texas.

Billy was in the U.S. Navy in the early 1950s. He married Effie M. Adams May 24, 1984 in Emory, Texas. Billy was an engine rebuilder, machinist, and owned his own business. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed being around family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Hubert and Mary Elizabeth Daniels; brothers: Melvin Daniels, Pete Daniels, and CD Daniels; sister: Lois Daniels Smith; and step-son: Adam Wayne Mcgee.

He is survived by his wife: Effie Daniels of the home; children: Billy Daniels of Tyler, Texas, Michael Daniels of Tyler, Texas, and Patricia Kay Daniels of Tyler, Texas; step-children: Donna McGee DeBenedictis of Spring, Texas, and Frankie McGee of the home; brothers: Earl Daniels of Moyers, Oklahoma, Dewey Daniels, and Wilford Daniels, sister: Berniece Daniels Cohen of St. Louis, Missouri; along with many other relatives and a host of friends.

Pallbearers include Sammy Joe Rymel, Terry Dean Miller, John Allison, Don Thomas, Gatlin McDonald, and Andy Heath.

Honorary pallbearers include Claude Savage and Ronnie Smith.

Family Night will be held 6-8 PM Friday, November 23, 2018 at Serenity Funeral Service Chapel.

Funeral services will be held 2 PM Saturday, November 24, 2018 at One Creek Valley Church North of Finley with Pastor Donny Day officiating. Interment will follow at One Creek Valley Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the One Creek Valley Church in Finley, Oklahoma.
