Bobbie June (Campbell) Beasley, 87, went to be with our Lord on January 7, 2019 in Antlers, Oklahoma. She was born in Andrews, Texas on May 31, 1931 to William Campbell and Essie (Dobbs) Campbell.
She married Elvis Bryant Beasley on July 21, 1953 in Hobbs, New Mexico. They lived in the Antlers area for 49 years, where she ran a greenhouse and a dairy farm at her house for many of those years. Before moving to Antlers, she worked as a nurse at the hospital and nursing home in Hobbs, New Mexico. Bobbie enjoyed reading her Bible, teaching Bible Study and Sunday School, watching her grandchildren play ball, watching the Dallas Cowboys, OU, and wrestling, working in the greenhouse, and watching livestock shows. She was a member of Kent Baptist Church and taught Sunday School at Choctaw Nation Nursing Home and Baptist Village. Bobbie was a supporter of the Soper Athletic Club and FFA.
Bobbie is preceded in death by her husband, Elvis Bryant Beasley; parents: William and Essie Campbell; her brothers: Lee, Buford, Clifford, Dick, Farris, Everett, and Aubrey Campbell; sisters: Willie Lytle, Virginia Wetherill, Jo Spalding, and Cherry Spizer; sons: Claude Roop, William Bryant Beasley, Elvis Dwayne Beasley, and Richard Bryant Beasley and his wife Kathy Beasley.
She is survived by daughters: Linda Fay Dunn of Hobbs, New Mexico and Rhonda Beasley of the home; daughter in law, Donna Beasley of Antlers, Oklahoma; twelve grandchildren, forty-four great grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends..
Family night will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, January 9,2019 at Kent Baptist Church.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Kent Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Sugar Creek Cemetery.
