Bobbie Ray Hendrix was born to Bobbie Lee Hendrix and Mahela Inez Pulliam in Corning, California on March 24, 1970. He passed from this life with his family at his side in Denison, Texas on September 6, 2022 at the age of 52.
Bobbie married Carla Hall on Valentine's Day of 2003. He made his living as a diesel mechanic, and truly found joy in repairing vehicles and tinkering with things. Bobbie enjoyed the simple things in life, and could often be found hunting, fishing, or hunting fossils and shark teeth. He especially loved scouring flea markets and the landfill for trinkets and abandoned treasures. Above all else, Bobbie was a family man who loved spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his father: Bobbie Lee Hendrix; and mother: Mahela Inez Pulliam.
Bobbie leaves many behind to cherish his memory, including: his wife: Carla Lovelle (Hall) Hendrix of the home; son: Travis Whitman of Anderson, CA; daughter: Makayla White and spouse Hayden of Tishomingo, OK; aunts: Abagail Williams of Frogville, OK, and Lenora Roberts and spouse Bill of Antlers, OK; sister: Bonnie Jean Tumino and spouse John of Anderson, CA; cousins: Janita, Becky, Richard, Walter, and Donald Ray; as well as numerous other friends and relatives.
A celebration of Bobbie's life will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 1PM in the Serenity Funeral Service Chapel with his wife, Carla Hendrix officiating.
