Brenda Jeannette Payne

Brenda Jeannette (Coggins) Payne was born in Antlers, OK on August 29, 1959 to June Coggins and Valdorine (Turner) Coggins. She passed from this life on November 15, 2021 in McAlester, OK at the age of 62.

Brenda loved listening to music, doing yardwork, and watching the Dallas Cowboys Football. She always looked forward to celebrating the Holidays. Above all else, Brenda cherished time with her family and friends.

Brenda is preceded in death by her father: June Coggins; mother: Valdorine Coggins; grandparents: Phelon "Pony" and Naomi Turner; and grandson: June Christian Payne.

She is survived by her children: Jennifer Holiman and spouse Kindel of Antlers, OK, Dustin Payne and spouse Brandie of Greenwood, AR, and Jacie Payne of Spiro, OK; ex-husband: David Payne; grandchildren: Cooper Holiman, Anakin Payne, Finn Payne, Everleigh Payne, Nathan Montgomery, Kolton Holiman, Kody Holiman, and Dillan Holiman and spouse Devyn; as well as several great-grandchildren.


Services for Brenda will be held at 1PM Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Antlers with Brent Franks officiating.

Services have been entrusted with Serenity Funeral Service of Antlers, OK.
