Brittney Kazy Obituary

Brittney Renae Kazy, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, passed away at the age of 28 on March 10, 2024, in Antlers, Oklahoma. Born on February 19, 1996, in Hugo, Oklahoma, Brittney grew up surrounded by a large and caring family. She will always be remembered for her vibrant spirit and courageous heart.

Brittney led a fulfilling life, marked by her passion for creativity and her incredible work ethic. She was a gifted artist, often found drawing, painting, doing arts and crafts, ceramics, and even knitting. Brittney took pride in spoiling her beloved dog Koda, even signing him up for a spot in the Pet of the Month Club. She adored her family and friends, and cherished any time spent with them.

Her determined and independent spirit shined brightly in her professional life as well. Brittney was a skilled heavy equipment operator at Teal Jones Lumber, where she worked for four years. She not only excelled in her role but also enjoyed the challenge of competing in what many consider a man's world. Her tenacity and strength were evident to all who knew her.

Beyond her work life, Brittney loved tackling difficult home improvement projects. If ever she encountered an obstacle that seemed insurmountable, she knew she had two supportive fathers, who could help her find a solution.
She is preceded in death by grandparents: Barbara and Jack Deliz; great-grandmother: Luseal Rard; great-grandmother: Terry Clark; sister: Heather Bridges; and nephew: Joseph Bridges.

Brittney is survived by her spouse: Ryan McKamie; parents: John and Lindsay Kazy, and Morris and Georgia Calder; brothers: Dylan Pfaff and spouse Taylor Pfaff, Tyler Carroll and spouse Victoria Lantz, Chance Kazy and spouse Sierra Kazy, Ethen Calder and spouse Jessica Calder, Dalton Calder and spouse Skylar Calder, Trevor Pace, and John Anthony Kazy; sisters: Destiny Calder, Payton Henderson and spouse Bradon Henderson, Isabella Carroll, and Clementine Kazy; and grandparents: Otis and Grace Chapman, Mac and Paige Carroll, and Leo Rard; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
