Bruce Weaver Obituary
David Bruce Weaver was born to H.D. Weaver and Virginia (Bruce) Weaver in Muskogee, Oklahoma on March 28, 1955. He passed from this life on October 12, 2021 in Durant, Oklahoma at the age of 66. Bruce grew up attending the First United Methodist Church.
After proudly serving in the United States Army, Bruce earned his Bachelors degree at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. He worked for years at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas as a Flight Simulator Technician where he helped train pilots, before more recently taking a position at Altus Air Force Base. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching Western movies, especially anything with Clint Eastwood. Bruce loved nothing more than fishing for bass, catfish, and crappie, and was often found at his favorite fishing hole, Pine Creek Lake, enjoying the peace and solitude.
He is preceded in death by his parents: H.D. Weaver and Virginia Weaver.
Bruce is survived by his children: Lee Harris and husband Trae; and grandchildren: Cole, Taia, and Cade Harris.
Services for Bruce will be held on Monday, October 18, 2021 at 2PM at the Antlers First United Methodist Church with Tim Trujillo officiating. Honorary Pallbearers include: Charlie Stone, Bill Smallwood, Jerrod Lingle, Jeff Akins, and Zachary Martin.
Cremation services have been entrusted with Serenity Funeral Service of Antlers, OK.
