Bryan Herman Obituary

Bryan Keith Herman, 46, of Sawyer, Oklahoma passed from this life on July 17, 2019. He was born June 12, 1973 to Martin Herman and Betty (Hartsell) Herman in Birmingham, Alabama.

Bryan married Melissa Payne on February 29, 2000 in Hugo, Oklahoma. He grew up in Soper, and later moved to the Wilburton area, before finally coming back to the Hugo area to do work for the Choctaw Ranch. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard and a member of the Apostolic Tabernacle of Hugo, Oklahoma. Bryan loved hog hunting, and spending time with his beloved friends and family. He also enjoyed playing dominoes, working, and being an outdoorsman.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Doug and Agnes Herman and maternal grandparents, Claude and Anna Mae Hartsell.

Bryan is survived by: his wife, Melissa Herman of the home; parents: Martin and Jeannie Herman of Messer, Oklahoma and Betty Herman of Ardmore, Oklahoma; children: Cameron Payne of Red Oak, Oklahoma, Caleb Gibson of Moyers, Oklahoma, Cody Herman of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Corbin Herman and wife Kaylee of Ardmore, Oklahoma, and Connor Herman of Red Oak, Oklahoma; brother: Marty Herman and wife Michelle of Paris, Texas; sisters: Missy Penson and husband Marty of Messer, Oklahoma, and Kristi Littlefield and husband Matt of Wilson, Oklahoma; and grandchildren: Bentley Payne and Samuel "Colt" Herman.

Funeral services for Bryan will be 10 AM Monday July 22, 2019 at the Apostolic Tabernacle in Hugo, Oklahoma with Reverend David Cahill officiating. Interment will follow at Rocky Point Cemetery in Moyers, Oklahoma.

Funeral services are entrusted with Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, Oklahoma.
