Candace Thadine Ayers, affectionately known as Candi, passed away unexpectedly on February 29, 2024, at the age of 59 in Antlers, Oklahoma where she had lived for the past 35 years. Candi was born on December 21, 1964, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, to the late Thad and Betty Moore.
Candi dedicated her professional life to serving others as a tax preparer after earning her Associate's Degree. Her meticulous attention to detail helped many through their yearly taxes. Beyond her work, Candi's passion for life shone through her hobbies. She cherished her time fishing, assembling puzzles, and playing games with her children and grandchildren, whom she adored. Candi was an avid football fan, and looked forward to the time of year where she could enjoy watching games.
Candi was preceded in death by her twin sons who were born sleeping; her son: Dustin Ayers; and her parents: Thad and Betty Moore.
She leaves behind her husband: Craig Ayers, of the home; children: Brian Ayers and his wife Telissa of Antlers, OK, and Joe Ayers and his wife Leslie of Antlers; a sister: Betty Ford; and her beloved grandchildren: Kellen, Logan, Sabila, Ayden, Trace, Destani, Addison, Braydon, Chastin, and Emerson.
Candi Ayers will be deeply missed, her memory a treasure held close in the hearts of all who loved her.
Family night will take place on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 from 6-8PM at Serenity Funeral Service. Funeral service for Candi will be held at 2PM on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, OK with Tommy Cornstubble officiating.
Services are under the direction of Serenity Funeral Service of Antlers.
