Carl Fleming Obituary

Carl Fleming went to be with his Lord on September 1, 2020. He was born in Sonoma, California on July 15, 1942 to George and Sarah "Louise" (Hicks) Fleming.

Carl was extremely proud to have served his country in the United States Navy. After his service, he married Darlene Guisto in Merced, California on August 10, 1964. Carl loved camping and fishing, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents: George and Louise Fleming; son: Carl Ray Fleming; his daughter and son-in-law: Jodi and Jeremy Price; and brothers: Pete Fleming, Monty Fleming, and Tommy Fleming.

Carl is survived by his wife: Darlene Fleming of the home; children: Angie Norman and husband Stoney of Antlers, Oklahoma, and Anthony Fleming of Clarksville, Tennessee; honorary son: Dusty Thomas of Hugo, Oklahoma; sister: Delaine Fleming of Merced, California; grandchildren: Candace Blansett, Sidney Deupree, Colton Fleming, Courtney Wright, Shannon Kuykendall, Shelbi Johnston, Charli Deupree, , Reagan Norman, Jackson Fleming, Thomas Grubbs and Mary Bailey Grubbs; great-grandchildren: Elizabeth Haner, Cara Blansett, Luke Blansett, Chaylen Fleming, Dylan Fleming, Carlyn Wright, Lexyn Wright, Emma Deupree, Tripp Johnston, Mac Johnston, and Case Dorey; great-great-grandchildren: Hadley Byrd and Kinley Haner; as well as a host of friends and other family members.


Memorial services for Carl will be held at the Serenity Funeral Service Chapel on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 2PM with honors provided by the United States Navy.

Services have been entrusted with Serenity Funeral Service of Antlers, OK.
