Carol Barnett- O'Donnell, 74, passed from this life November 25, 2021 in Idabel, Oklahoma. She was born October 13, 1947 to Willie and Leona (Hill) Beller in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Carol was a unique person. She loved artwork, painting, sewing, making western purses and just being a very creative person. She loved to attend all of her children ball games. She obtained her masters degree in education and worked as a kindergarten teacher at Rattan Public School until her retirement in 2003. She always felt blessed to be able to make a difference in so many young children. Carol loved her family and friends and spent every moment appreciating life with all of them, especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren and her husband Jimmy O'Donnell.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Willie and Leona Beller; her first husband: Billy Jack Barnett; her grandchild: Samantha Smith.
Carol is survived by the love of her life, Jimmy Carol O'Donnell; her children: Billy Alan Barnett and wife Debbie of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Donald Wayne Barnett and wife April of Durant, Oklahoma, Shawn Dale Barnett and wife Amy of Rattan, Oklahoma, Shane Thomas Barnett and wife Kristin of Eufala, Oklahoma, Jimmy Keith O'Donnell and wife Charity, Kemberly Michelle O'Donnell, Deston O'Donnell all of Broken bow, Oklahoma; her siblings: Walter Beller and wife Vivian of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Larry Beller and wife Carolyn of Blanchard, Oklahoma, Beth Crossland and husband Otto of Purcell, Oklahoma, Johnny Beller of Rufe, Oklahoma and Gayla Mckinnley and husband Charley of Rufe, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Lauren, Elyse, Sarah, Rachel, Brylee, Kobee, Lexi, Keely, Sidnee, Broc, Bryce, Morgen, Hailey, Jesse, Zachary and Blain; great-grandchildren: Jaxson, Jameson, Jagger, Spencer, Braxton, Noah, Tucker, Molly, Rylynn and Lily; as well as a host of other friends and family.
Services for Carol will be held 2 PM Monday November 29, 2021 at the Victory Assembly of God in Rattan, Oklahoma with Keith Williams officiating. Interment to follow at Belzoni Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Billy Alan Barnett, Donald Wayne Barnett, Shawn Dale Barnett, Shane Thomas Barnett, Jimmy Keith O'Donnell and Deston O'Donnell. Honorary pallbearers will be Walter Beller, Larry Beller, Johnny Beller, Charley McKinnley, Jason Baggett, Johnny Self, Charlie Self and Lester Alexander.
Family night for her will be Sunday November 28, 2021 from 2-4 PM at Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, Oklahoma.
