Carolyn Sue Berkey

Carolyn Sue Berkey, 82, passed from this life November 30, 2022, in Paris, Tennessee. She was born January 11, 1940, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Charles Newton Berkey and Fay Lee (Thomas) Berkey.

She was a Christian woman of the baptist faith, who had a deep love for the Lord. Carolyn enjoyed bowling and watching the basketball games, at Moyers School. She always took the time to attend the rodeos her grandchildren and great grandchildren rode in. More than anything, Carolyn loved spending time with her family.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her father: Charles Berkey; Mother: Fay Berkey; Brothers: Joe Berkey and Danny Berkey; and sons: Timmy Garman and Charles Bond.

She is survived by her children: Gency Fay Berkey of Maysville, Oklahoma and Douglas Eugene Bond of Melissa, Texas; daughter-in-law: Theresa Garman of Hugo, Oklahoma; brother: Tommy Berkey of Moyers, Oklahoma; sisters-in-law: Malinda Berkey of Moyers, Oklahoma and Margaret Berkey of Antlers, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Corey Garman, Angel Garman, Amanda Yohn, Jake Garman, Layla Garman, Amber Patterson and Ariel Bond all of Hugo, Oklahoma, Morgan Bond of Spencerville, Oklahoma, Tessa Moreland of Lane, Oklahoma, Chelsea Self of Rattan, Oklahoma and Easton Hunt of Dresden, Tennessee; numerous great grandchildren; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers include: Easton Hunt, Joshua Cole, Ty Thomas, Jake Garman, Michael Berkey, Chris Dennis, Darrell Jones and Layla Garman.

Honorary pallbearers include: Tommy Berkey, Malinda Berkey, Tamara Eastwood, Margaret Duncan, Margaret Berkey, Amber Patterson, Corey Garman, Arial Bond, Tessa Bond, Morgan Bond, Amanda Yohn, Mechelle Dennis, Daneal Sappington and Angel Garman.

A funeral service, for Carolyn Berkey, will be held 2 PM, Monday, December 5, 2022, at the Moyers Baptist Church, in Moyers, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Rocky Point Cemetery.
