Carolyn Joyce Weeks was born on November 5, 1947 in Texarkana, AR to James Ellis Young, Sr. and Maggie (Bun) Young. She passed from this life on July 12, 2025 in Texarkana, TX at the age of 77. 

Carolyn was a long time resident of Antlers, OK, where she was a member of the First Baptist Church, before returning to Texarkana, TX. She enjoyed passing her time creating beautiful works through her quilting, coloring, and sewing. 

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents: James Ellis Young, Sr. and Maggie Bun Young; and siblings: James E. Young, Jr., George A. Young, Christine M. Crate, and Emma L. Bohon.

She is survived by her husband: Darrell Bithal Weeks of Texarkana, TX; children: John William Weeks and Randy Lynn Weeks; and grandchild: Cheyenne Weeks.

Graveside services for Carolyn Joyce Weeks will be held at 3 PM Monday July 21, 2025 at the Moyers Cemetery in Moyers, Oklahoma.

Services have been entrusted with Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, Oklahoma.
